I met Kaitlin and Danny last year when they asked me to photograph their wedding in Chico. They wanted to be married at the church they met at, fell in love at. They told me this church was beyond special to them and their lives together. That was why they were having a destination wedding in Chico.

They now live in Berkeley. The Bidwell Presbyterian Church still had many of  their friends there, their pastor was there and the roots of their relationship began there.

Shooting their wedding it was apparent how much they were loved and supported not just by their families, but their friends and the fellowship of this church. It wasn't lost on me how much everyone around them was so very happy for them.

 

I walked away one more time, being blown away by love. They are completely committed to one another in ways that are spiritual in nature. My heart has been opened a little more getting to be a witness; lump in throat, wet eyes beautiful.
